The antenna array has a first part of an antenna located on a chip (100) and contains some of the transceiver units of the radar sensor. A second radiation-coupled part (220) is located on top of the chip at a distance to the first part. The first part has an exciter receiver element (120) which is part of a chip (100)-forming semiconductor element and the second part is a resonator element (220) located on a support (200) and having a larger surface than the surface of the exciter element.
