The invention refers to medicine, particularly to dentistry, and may be used for enlarging the visual operative field at the clinical examination of the inferior dental arch, for the protection of oral cavity soft tissues in the event of therapeutic and orthopedic treatment.The device includes a one-piece metal strip (1), placed vertically, made in the form of inferior dental arch, having vestibular (2) and oral (3) portions, and a handle (4). At the same time, the distance between the vestibular (2) and oral (3) portions is of 2,0à3,5, the height of the strip (1) is of 1,5à2,0 cm, and the handle (4) is made with an arched end (5), with the help of which it is joined with the outside of the vestibular portion (2).
