<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave axis adjusting device and an electric wave axis adjusting method capable of allowing the electric wave axis of a radar device to agree with the traveling direction axis of a vehicle accurately and easily in a short time without displaying the field intensity of a reflected wave reflected by a reflecting object. <P>SOLUTION: This electric wave axis adjusting device 1 for allowing the electric wave axis 9 of the radar device 3 loaded on the vehicle 2 to agree with the traveling direction axis 6 of the vehicle 2, includes an axis adjusting mechanism 4 provided between the vehicle 2 and the radar device 3, for adjusting a mounting angle of the radar device 3 relative to the vehicle 2; a precise angle display lamp 5 mounted on the radar device 3, for floodlighting a beam; an image processing device 7 provided on the traveling direction axis 6 and in front of the vehicle 2, for outputting a detection result by detecting a display pattern of the beam; and an axis adjustment control part 8 for outputting an operation command to an axis adjusting means so that the electric wave axis 9 agrees with the traveling direction axis 6, based on the detection result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
