<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a page buffer, its driving method, and a nonvolatile memory device provided with the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the page buffer and the nonvolatile memory apparatus provided with the same, a plurality of page buffers are divided into a plurality of groups, and a plurality of latches provided at the divided page buffers are driven in order while keeping the prescribed time difference. During the above process, respective page buffers charge previously a first contact through the latches connected to a sense node, and the page buffers connect electrically a second contact connected to a sense circuit and the first contact.
