PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slotless motor that solves the problem wherein conventional slotless motor has increasingly higher current ripples, and larger high-frequency losses owing to smaller winding inductances, resulting in larger heat generation of motor, thereby developing no larger motor output. SOLUTION: Since a leakage flux of an coil end portion is increased by adding an auxiliary core 12 to a part of an armature winding 12 that is not opposed to a permanent magnet 22 out of an armature winding 12, that is, coil end portion, the winding inductance is increased, and thus current ripples is suppressed to a smaller level. High-frequency loss due to current ripples is minimized, and in turn motor output is maximized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
