PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for imaging a person in a parked vehicle which can efficiently be used without using a large-capacity recording device and can easily detect the person in the parked vehicle from the recorded video. SOLUTION: When a no-movement still area in an image can be extracted from video data of a monitor area from a wide-angle camera 110, a feature quantity is extracted from the still area and pattern matching between the feature quantity and a vehicle template is performed to calculate position information and time information of a vehicle area when the there is the vehicle area. Then while it is decided how many minutes there is no movement in the vehicle area, a pan and tilt zooming camera 111 is controlled based upon the position information to obtain video data from the pan and tilt zooming camera 111, a movement area in the image is extracted from the video data, and further a face area is extracted; and then the best shot matching a criterion most among face images is decided and recorded in a recording section 150.
