PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner free of sticking on a sleeve and on a development roller in one-component development, free of occurrence of an abnormal image such as image density unevenness or ground stain, and free of occurrence of such an abnormal image even in a high-speed machine, a process cartridge filled with the toner, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the process cartridge. SOLUTION: The toner is used in an image forming apparatus by an oilless fixing system using a one-component developer comprising a wax-containing toner, wherein a speed of a development roller is 25-85 cm/s, there are arranged a plurality of members for rubbing the toner on a surface of the development roller (except a photoreceptor), and an amount of the developer passing through the front of a development area is 0.06-0.40 g/(cm s). The toner has a volume average particle diameter (Dv) of 2-6μm and a content of particles having a particle diameter of 0.6-2.0μm in the toner is≤25% by number. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
