PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring display device capable of measuring and displaying, without having to provide a pulse output type watt-hour meter, even for a power system not that is not provided with a pulse output type measuring device. SOLUTION: This measuring display device for receiving a measuring signal from a measuring device for measuring the electrical quantity and transmitting a measurement result by a pulse train and a measuring signal from a measuring conversion device for transmitting a measurement result by a telegraphic message, and for measuring and displaying the signals, is constituted of input processing parts 2, 2 into which the measuring signals are inputted; a pulse counting processing means for counting and processing the measuring signal inputted into each input processing part 2, 2 as a pulse train; a telegraphic message analysis processing means for analyzing and processing the inputted measuring signal as a telegraphic message; and a switching means for selecting either of the pulse counting processing means and the telegraphic message analysis processing means, by which the measuring signal inputted into each processing part 2, 2 is processed. The pulse-counting processing means, the telegraphic message analysis processing means, and the switching means are realized, by executing the program stored in a storage part 5 by an operation processing part 3.
