PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastisol coating material useful as a sealing material for automobile and capable of reducing the emission of aldehydes. SOLUTION: The plastisol coating material having reduced aldehyde emission is composed of a vinyl chloride resin, an acrylic resin, a plasticizer, a tackifier, a hardening agent and a filler and contains adipoyl dihydrazide and/or guanidine sulfamate as a curing agent component. The plastisol coating material for automobile use having reduced aldehyde emission is applied to a coating object and dried by heating at 120-160°C for 10-30 min to obtain a cured coating film.
