PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for a vehicle capable of maintaining the comfortableness of an occupant at all times by resolving a problem of temporary discharge of odor toward the occupant in a cabin. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner for the vehicle having a plurality of blowout modes including a face blowout mode and a foot blowout mode is equipped with an odor reducing operation mode in which the operation in the face blowout mode is prohibited or the blowout wind quantity at a face blowout port is suppressed in the prescribed operating condition of easily generating odor in an air-conditioning unit 10 incorporated with an evaporator 13.
