PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a step of forming a corrosion-resistant film on the surface of a cast product. SOLUTION: A metal powder 25 for forming a corrosion-resistant film on the surface of the cast product 17 is supplied to the surface of the cast product 17 which has a clearance 24 between a mold 15 for continuous casting and the cast product caused by its solidification and shrinkage in the mold 15. As another embodiment, the metal for forming the corrosion-resistant film on the surface of a cast product is supplied to the surface of the cast product by thermal spraying just after the cast product is drawn out from the mold for continuous casting. The metal and the cast product are integrated by annealing the cast product after the metal for forming the corrosion-resistant film is supplied. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
