PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector which is light and small as before, which dispenses with a large storage space to store particularly a number of dust collectors, and which is planed to improve maintenance workability such as cleaning and changing a filter. SOLUTION: The dust collector 10 comprises a tubular housing divided into two up and down rooms with a partition 12, one room of which is provided with an intake opening 29 on the side wall and with a cylindrical filter 25 therein, the other room of which is provided with exhaust openings 17 on the side wall, with a vane wheel 16 of a fan and with volute type exhaust paths disposed at the periphery part of the vane wheel 16, the delivery ports of which is communicated with the exhaust openings 17 wherein the cross section of the tubular housing 11 is rectangular with a plural number of the exhaust openings 17, the number of volute type exhaust paths is made to be the same as that of exhaust openings, and each delivery port of the volute type exhaust paths communicates with each exhaust opening.
