PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner, capable of polishing a floor with a sheet attached to a rotary brush of a suction implement for a floor. SOLUTION: The rotary brush is rotated to wind and attach the sheet round the outer periphery of the rotary brush. A hand switch part is provided with an operation switch operated for performing ordinary cleaning to scrape off dust on the floor surface by a brush body or a blade body of the rotary brush, and a floor polishing mode switch operated when the sheet is wound round the outer periphery of the rotary brush by rotation of the rotary brush to perform wiping cleaning. By this constitution, the sheet is wound round the outer periphery of the rotary brush scraping off the dust on the floor surface by the brush body or the blade body with the rotation of the rotary brush so that the cleaning work efficiency can be improved.
