PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve diagnostic efficiency by making it easy to obtain information about diagnostic section precisely. SOLUTION: Based on radiation detection data obtained by detecting a radiation by a body cavity probe part 11 inserted to the esophagus of the subject SU, radiation images IR0, IR1 and IR2 showing intensity of the radiation are generated. Then, based on a magnetic resonance signal obtained by scanning about a photographic area including the esophagus, the slice images IA0, IA1 and IA2 of a slice surface including the esophagus are generated. Then, the generated radiation images IR0, IR1 and IR2 and the slice images IA0, IA1 and IA2 are synthesized to generate synthetic images IC0, IC1 and IC2. In this case, the generated radiation images IR0, IR1 and IR2 and the slice images IA0, IA1 and IA2 are positioned and synthesized so as to correspond to the position where the radiation is detected by the body cavity probe part 11 in the subject SU.
