The implant (10) has two supporting surfaces (26, 28) for attaching to articulation surfaces (30) of respective vertebral bodies (14). The surfaces are movably supported relative to one another. An X-ray marker (42) is designed in the form of a marker coating (44) of side surfaces (40) of the implant, where the coating contains a marker material with titanium. The marker is inclined around an inclination angle relative to the supporting surfaces, where the marker is made of metal.
