<p>A process for the manufacture of a preparation for enhancing yield in agriculture and horticulture comprising the steps of taking in proportion 12.8 kg pyridine in a vessel; 10.4 kg of concentrated nitric acid in another vessel; mixing the said pyridine and nitric acid in a reaction vessel with provision for escape of gases, to result in hydroxy nitro pyridine; adding to 20 kg of the said hydroxy nitro pyridine (after coming to room temperature) (78 kg petro and non-petro solvent along) with 1 kg each of nitro salicylic and succinic acid and 5 kg of butyl cellulose; and mixing the same thoroughly and priming up to 100kg or litres to obtain the said preparation.</p> |
