The umbrella has a rod-shaped handle (12) with frames, and an umbrella cover (14) comprising a cloth with a portion of optically conducting fibers, where one end of the fibers is connected with a main light source (20) and other ends of the fibers form an open point-shaped light source. The cloth is ruffled at the head of the umbrella around the main light source. The other ends of the fibers are formed as fringes (18), where the fibers have optical insulating outer layers.
