METHOD FOR ERASING IMAGE, IMAGE ERASER AND METHOD FOR RECLAIMING RECORDING MEDIUM

Disclosed is a method for erasing an image which is formed on a recording medium by applying an ink containing a dye. This image erasing method is characterized in that the image is exposed to an oxidizing gas which is generated by dielectric barrier discharge. Also disclosed are an apparatus for carrying out such an image erasing method, and a method for reclaiming a recording medium wherein such an image erasing method is performed.
