<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of detecting an object image at a high speed even though the object image is rotated and parallelly moved in image recognition detection. <P>SOLUTION: The object image desired to be detected is represented with a haar-like feature that is subjected to parameter representation, and affine transform such as to coincide most with an image desired to be recognized and detected is found by an EM algorithm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
