<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cold storage material capable of stably exerting remarkable refrigeration capability in an ultracold temperature region over a long period. <P>SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a cold storage material, particulate magnetic cold storage materials 4 filled in a tubular metal 5 are bonded to one another, and integrated with the tubular metal 5. The manufacturing method of a cold storage material is characterized by coating the surfaces of the particulate magnetic cold storage materials 4 with an adhesive of 0.1 to 5 wt.% with respect to the weight of the magnetic cold storage material particles 4.
