PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus for a vehicle which can display driving support information for supporting a driver by reducing driver's visual line movement without losing visibility in the front of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The display apparatus 1 for the vehicle which displays driving support information 30 for supporting the driver comprises target position detection means 2, 3 for detecting the position of a target 10 of the driving support information 30 and visible image display means 4, 5 for displaying a visible image in a space between the windshield of the driver's vehicle and the target 10 detected by the target position detection means 2, 3. The visible image display means 4, 5 display the driving support information 30 on a position which is approximately superposed on the target 10 when the target 10 is observed from the driver.
