PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmetallic container for an electromagnetic induction cooker, which is capable of efficiently conducting heat generated in a heat generation layer to a nonmetallic container body, in the nonmetallic container for the electromagnetic induction cooker comprising a nonmetallic container body and a heat generation layer for generating heat by electromagnetic induction. SOLUTION: An earthen pot 1 comprises a pot body 2 which is the container body, a lid 4 for covering an opening 3 formed at the upper part of the pot body 2, the heat generation layer 6 provided on the bottom part 5 at the pot body 2 for generating heat by the electromagnetic induction, and a protective layer 7 for protecting the heat generation layer 6. Then, an adhesive layer 14 containing a highly heat conductive substance is provided on the outer bottom surface 12 of the pot body 2, and the heat generation layer 6 is provided on the surface of the adhesive layer 14. Thus, the heat generated by the heat generation layer 6 is conducted to the pot body 2 through the adhesive layer 14 of high heat conductivity, and the heat generated in the heat generation layer 6 is efficiently conducted to the pot body 2.
