摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify the software of an image processing, by inputting four apex positions of rectangular parallelepieped manually to eliminate the need for binary coding an video signal as image data from a camera. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular parallelepiped is photographed with a camera 1 and an image is send to an image signal processing section 2 to be shown on a display 3. Four apexes of rectangular parallelepiped shown on the display 3 are indicated by an manual apex position input unit 4 to send apex position signals to an apex coordinate detecting section 5, which detects vertical and horizontal components of apex coordinates. The vertical component of the apex coordinates is detected by counting horizontal synchronous signals. Then, the horizontal component of the apex coordinates is detected by counting a clock pulses. The apex coordinates detected are corrected with an apex coordinate corrector section 6 to be real apex coordinates of the rectangular parallelepiped and side length calculating section 7 calculates a volume from side lengths obtained and sends the results of calculation to a volume calculation result output section 9.
