<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a congestion situation presenting device for enabling a user to accurately, conveniently and immediately grasp a congestion situation in a prescribed space, and a congestion situation information browsing system. <P>SOLUTION: The congestion situation presenting device 9 is provided with a floor plan storing means 1 for storing a floor plan of a prescribed space of a store and a facility or the like, a human body position detecting means 2 for detecting the position of a human body existing in the prescribed space, and a congestion situation presenting means 3 for presenting to the user a congestion situation diagram in which symbols prepared in advance are drawn at a position on the floor plan corresponding to the positions of human bodies detected by the human body detecting means 2.
