摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which enables the inexpensive manufacture of high-gloss inkjet recording paper having a porous ink absorbing layer with improved ink absorbency. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is used for manufacturing the inkjet recording paper in which a porous layer, containing inorganic particulates and a hydrophilic polymer crosslinked by ionizing radiation, is provided on a substrate. The manufacturing method for the inkjet recording paper is characterized in that the ionizing radiation is emitted on condition that the volume ratio of the hydrophilic polymer, crosslinked by the ionizing radiation, to the inorganic particulates is in the range of 15-33%, and immediately after coating and/or within the time when the moisture content of a coated film is in the range of 190-450%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
