<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device having excellent productivity suppressing deterioration of a developer accompanying temperature rise, and to provide an image forming apparatus thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device comprises: a development roller arranged near an image carrier forming an electrostatic latent image and for developing the electrostatic latent image by toner in a developer by rotating the developer in a prescribed direction while carrying the developer containing the toner on a circumferential face; a temperature detection part for directly or indirectly detecting a temperature of the developer; and a reverse driving part for rotating the development roller in a reverse direction to the prescribed direction when a detection result of the temperature detection part indicates a prescribed high temperature state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
