<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy both of power saving and to perform fast print quickly at a printer system which has a plurality of printer devices supporting a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The printer system of this invention has a plurality of printer devices supporting power saving mode, and achieves power saving by providing only one printer device that does not shift to the power saving mode in the system and the other printer devices that are set to shift power saving mode. Under such a condition, at the stage when the system receives a first print job, the system makes the other printer devices of power saving mode wake-up, and controls so that next print job can be processed quickly.
