PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin printing original plate excellent in handleability on which a projected relief image can be formed without requiring an original picture film, and to provide a method of making the photosensitive resin printing original plate.

SOLUTION: The drawn photosensitive resin letterpress printing original plate has at least a photosensitive resin layer (A), a drawn thermosensitive mask layer (B') and a protective layer (C), layered in this order on a support.
