<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing non-paper feeding caused by various causes effectively and conveying a recording paper securely when conveying the loaded recording paper. <P>SOLUTION: An operation plate provided on a paper feeding cassette loads a recording paper. A sheet face height setting part 320 lifts the operation plate so that the uppermost face of recording paper has predetermined height, and a conveyance control part 315 conveys the recording paper on the uppermost face reaching the predetermined height. A resist sensor 200 detects the recording paper in a predetermined section on a conveyance path for conveying the recording paper, and a non-paper feeding determining part 331 determines that the recording paper does not reach the predetermined height based on non-detection of the recording paper by the resist sensor 200. A sheet face height correction part 330 lifts the operation plate again to correct a position of the operation plate in accordance with the determination by the non-paper feeding determining part 331. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
