PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing degradation in the heat generation efficiency of a fixing roller and capable of uniformly setting the temperature distribution of the fixing roller in its axial direction. SOLUTION: A plurality of cores 32 are arranged and fixed in prescribed parts of a main body frame 7 by fixing members 8 provided on the main body frame 7. In other words, the positions of the plurality of cores 32 can be defined in relation to the main body frame 7. On the other hand, the fixing roller 1 is attached to the main body frame 7. That is, the position of the fixing roller 1 can be defined in relation to the main body frame 7.
