PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece movement having an annual date mechanism allowing simple and quick correction. SOLUTION: This calendar mechanism has a date disk 16 provided with the first internal tooth train 20 and the second internal tooth train 24 having characters for 31 dates and 31 sheets of gear teeth 20a, a date driving wheel set 32 for driving one of the teeth of the first internal tooth train 20 by one step per day so as to control date display, a correction driving wheel set 42 for driving the date disk 16 by advancing further the second internal tooth train 24 by one step, in the end of each even month, a month star 54 rotated by one cycle a year, and a month driving wheel set 52 for driving the month star 54 in the end of every month. The month driving wheel set 52 has the first position where a motion dynamic coupling between the date disk 16 and the month star 54 is released without acting on the the month star 54, and the second position occupied with the month driving wheel set 52 in the end of the month, and for activating the month star 54 to advance the month star 54 by one step.
