PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve all of the points at issue such as the length of an extraction time for extracting air bubble parts, the troublesomeness of extraction work, the complicatedness of an extraction device or equipment of necessary tools, the reliability deficiency of an extraction result, etc. SOLUTION: The density difference image of the first image, which is photographed by a digital camera using the illumination of a first illumination means of which the angle of illumination light formed with respect to the measuring region of the measuring target surface of a test piece of hardened concrete is large, and the second image, which is photographed by the illumination of a second illumination means of which the angle of illumination light formed with respect to the measuring region, is subjected to the characteristic quantity extraction processing of the image of opening parts of the holes including air bubbles appearing in the measuring region using the first air bubble image subjected to image processing and the second air bubble image subjected to image processing with respect to the third photographed image of the measuring region photographed by the illumination from the illumination means for illuminating the measuring region with luminous intensity exceeding a predetermined level to measure the air bubbles contained in the hardened concrete.
