PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger constituted by rationally composing a connector. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger is constituted by assembling members composing a tube, a tank 400, and the connector 440, and carrying out in-furnace brazing. The connector is provided with a block body 447 and a pipe body 448 as elements. The block body is provided with passages 441, 442, and a seat face 443 joined to the tank. The passages have first opening 441b, 442a communicated with the other passage, and second openings 441a, 442b communicated with a hole of the tank. The second opening is positioned in a seat face. In a pipe body, one end is pressed (or inserted) into an interior of the passage of the block body from the second opening, the other end is inserted into the inner side of the tank from the hole 463 formed at the tank, and when assembling the block body, the other end of the pipe body is caulked (or both ends of the pipe body are respectively caulked).
