PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein composition containing a high content of fibrinogen, being capable of easily adjusting a ratio of fibrinogen to fibronectin and optionally containing the other component. SOLUTION: A method for producing a protein composition containing fibrinogen and fibronectin is disclosed in which a starting solution containing fibrinogen and fibronectin is treated with the precipitation composition containing two different components for altering solubility of fibrinogen and/or fibronectin, and thereby the precipitate containing fibrinogen and fibronectin is formed in a single precipitation process, and the formed precipitate is further treated by well known methods per se, if necessary.
