COMPOSITION, FRIT, ENAMEL AND CERAMIC COMPONENTS AND PROCESS TO MAKE THE SAME

The present invention is directed to a composition of raw material which, after melting, provides a mixture comprising: between 2 and 7 % w/w of Na₂O+K₂O, wherein the amount of K₂O is at least double the amount of Na₂O measured by weight; between 10 and 22 % w/w of MgO+CaO; between 4 and 12 % w/w of Al₂O₃; between 50 and 65 % w/w of SiO₂; and between 4 and 10 % w/w of TiO₂; characterized in that it comprises less than 8% w/w of B₂O₃; less than 3% w/w of ZnO; less than 2% w/w of BaO; less than 2% w/w of PbO; less than 2% w/w of SrO; and less than 1% w/w of Li₂O. The present invention is also directed to a frit, enamel and ceramic component comprising the same.
