The invention concerns a method for preparing a grafted copolymer by an unsaturated fatty chain comprising at least one -OH terminal in aqueous phase. The invention also concerns a grafted copolymer obtainable by said method and its uses as binder in coating compositions and in particular in decorative or industrial painting compositions in adhesive compositions or in mineral binder compositions.
