The method involves determining interpolation points (13) assigned to the magnitude of scanning points (12) using a processor. Scanning point values are interpolated on the scanning points by values of the interpolation points. The interpolation point values are intermediately stored in a linear interpolation value memory region of a memory unit such that the interpolation point values are interpolated to the scanning point values with by a vector operation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for evaluation of data (2) a computer program product for evaluation of data.
