Provided is a communication device for communicating with an external device. The communication device comprises a storage unit for storing a corresponding table between a user using the communication device and a communication target for communicating with the user through the communication device, a communication unit for sending data to a reception target or the communication target and/or for receiving the data sent from the communication target, a search unit for searching the user, for whom a lapse time period is longer in the communication unit than a predetermined threshold value from the last communication having the reception target or the transmission source of the communication target so stored in the corresponding table as to correspond to the user, a display unit for displaying the list of the users searched in the search unit; and a communication control unit for causing, in response to the selecting operation of the user in the list displayed in the display unit, the communication unit to perform the communication, in which the communication target stored in the corresponding table in a manner to correspond to the selected user is the reception target.
