PURPOSE:To eliminate the difference in a luminance signal and a chroma signal and to prevent the color blussing of a reproducing image by making into a frame signal by using a 0.5H delaying line with a good delaying characteristic after the field signal of the FM condition is converted to a high frequency once. CONSTITUTION:A field signal reproduced by a magnetic head 10 is supplied to the first frequency converting device 12, and here, converted to a high frequency (fc+fy+f1) once. The signal is supplied to an one side contact (a) of a field frame converting switch 14 and supplied through a 0.5H delaying line 15 to a contact (b) of the above-mentioned switch. The switch 14 is changed over for 1V by a control signal 18 and a frame signal 19 is obtained. The frame signal 19 is supplied to the second frequency converting device 20, converted to a low frequency (fc+fy) signal here again and sent to an HPF21 and an LPF22. From an EPF 21, a luminance signal fy is obtained, from the LPF 22, chrominance components fc are obtained and respectively, supplied to demodulators 23 and 26.
