<p>Methods and agents are disclosed for modulating the interaction of beta-catenin or gamma-catenin with CBP or p300. Agents that increase the binding of CBP to beta-catenin are associated with enhancing the beta-catenin-related proliferation of adult stem cells, including hematopoietic stem cells, neural stem cells, skin stem cells, and pancreatic stem cells, as well as embryonic stem cells.</p> |
