<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertisement-added information providing method and a content recording/reproducing device, capable of guiding a viewer, to subjectively and actively view advertisement contents at a normal speed, without impairing viewer's handleability. <P>SOLUTION: An advertisement-added information providing method multiplexes advertisement-added information which contains advertisement-added data to be provided for the viewer as additional contents of advertisement contents and also contains advertisement-added data management information, having an additional information identification for identifying the advertisement-added data, added data kind, output time, and operation monitor time so that the advertisement-added information is received at the start of the advertisement contents, and distributes it as broadcast service. When the broadcast contents are recorded on a receiving device side, the multiplexed advertisement-added information is also recorded, as it is, the advertisement-added information multiplexed with the advertisement contents is detected, when the contents are reproduced to monitor viewer's operation, only for the operation monitor time included therein, and only when reproduction is performed at a normal speed for the operation monitor time, the advertisement-added data are output only for the output time included in the advertisement-added information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
