<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent isolation or missing of a cooling fan from a cooling body, even when a coupling portion with a substrate of the cooling fin of the cooling body is broken in the power converter for railway coach wherein the coarch is cooled with the runnding wind. <P>SOLUTION: Heat radiating fins are provided to the cooling body in the power converter for railway coach for cooling the coach with the running wind, and are arranged toward the direction parallel to the running direction of a coach.
