<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress input of power to a capacitor device exceeding the input limit when starting an internal combustion engine while a hybrid vehicle is moving by motor. <P>SOLUTION: Intermittent driving forbidden vehicle speed Vref which forbids intermittent driving of an engine 22 is established based on an input limit Win of a battery 50 (S110). If a vehicle speed V is under the intermittent driving forbidden vehicle speed Vref, the engine 22 and motors MG1 and MG2 are controlled so that a requested torque Tr* can be obtained involving the intermittent driving of the engine 22 according to a predetermined start condition (S140) and a stop condition (S150). Meanwhile, if the vehicle speed V is over the intermittent driving forbidden vehicle speed Vref, the engine 22 and motors MG1 and MG2 are controlled regardless the above start conditions and the stop condition so that the requested torque Tr* can be obtained involving continuation of driving of the engine 22 during the driving of the engine 22, and involving cranking of the engine 22 by the motors MG1 and MG2 during stop of the engine 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
