<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when band data are processed in parallel by using a plurality of processors, if allotments of processings to respective processors are not appropriately performed depending on characteristics of printing data to be processed, processing abilities of the processors can not be enough utilized, and printing time is delayed. <P>SOLUTION: A printing controlling apparatus comprises a printing region dividing means, at least one data processing means, a practicing time storing means, a processing allotting means, and an outputting means. The printing region dividing means interprets printing data and divides a region in which the printing data are printed into a plurality of regions. The data processing means performs data processing to a part region divided by the printing region dividing means. The practicing time storing means stores time required for practicing the printing region processing and dividing means and the data processing means. The processing allotting means allots a processing requirement to a part region to the data processing means based on the practicing time stored in the practicing time storing means.
