<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster prevention mask excellent in durability and moisture resistance not only maintaining CO eliminating performance longer than a conventional one but also exhibiting the CO eliminating performance even under the high-humidity condition during extinguishing fire. <P>SOLUTION: A CO eliminating agent made by impregnating, for example, a Cu-Mn complex oxide shaped by extrusion molding with a Ru compound such as ruthenium chloride, preferably in an amount of 0.2 to 1.0 mass% in terms of Ru is used as a CO eliminating agent charged into the absorbing canister of the disaster prevention mask. Further, an activated carbon and/or an impregnated charcoal may be used as a pretreating agent of the CO eliminating agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
