MANUFACTURING METHOD OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal display device by which a manufacturing cost can be reduced.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display device includes a step for applying a color ink by an ink jet method on an aperture part of a black matrix 31 on one substrate 30 between a pair of substrates 10 and 30 opposed to each other sandwiching a liquid crystal layer and forming a colored part 32, a step for applying an alignment layer material by the ink jet method on facing surfaces of the pair of substrates and forming alignment layers 21 and 35 and a step for applying and disposing spacer particles 36 controlling the gap of the liquid crystal layer on at least one substrate between the pair of substrates by the ink jet method.
