<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood type golf club satisfying both the increased carry of a hit ball and the improved effectiveness of a head. <P>SOLUTION: The wood type golf club is equipped with a shaft, a grip mounted on one end of the shaft and the head mounted on the other end of the shaft, wherein the mass m (g) of the golf club and a distance L (cm) from the end on the grip side of the golf club to the centroid position of the golf club satisfy m×L≤2.56×10<SP>4</SP>(g cm) and m×L<SP>2</SP>≥2.300×10<SP>6</SP>(g cm<SP>2</SP>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
