摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a highly accurate control to correct target rotating speed so that a target angle of rotation and an actual angle of rotation of a driving motor may coincide with each other and to match a neutral point of a steering wheel with a neutral point of an actual steering angle by correcting the target rotating speed according to a deviation between the target angle of rotation and the actual angle of rotation. SOLUTION: This steering device calculates target angle of rotation and target rotating speed of an auxiliary steering mechanism 40 according to a traveling state of a vehicle and a steering state of a driver by target arithmetic means 110 and 140, and corrects the target rotating speed calculated according to the calculated target angle of rotation and a angle of rotation detected by a angle-of-rotation detection means 42. Rotating speed of the auxiliary steering mechanism 40 is controlled so that the rotating speed detected by the rotating speed detection means 42 may coincide with the corrected target rotating speed. When the deviation exists between the calculated target angle of rotation and the angle of rotation detected by the angle-of-rotation detection means 42, the target rotating speed is corrected in a direction to reduce the deviation.
