PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a chapter according to an extra time as to program data which are reserved and recorded by making the extra time a little longer since a broadcasting time is prolonged. SOLUTION: A time re-setting section 19 when detecting the broadcasting time being prolonged based upon an analysis result of EPG data of a broadcast signal by EPG analysis section 18 re-sets video recording reservation information Ci so that its reservation video recording time is prolonged. In a video recording processing section 12, when recording a program according to the reservation information Ci after the re-setting, a chapter setting section 13 sets a chapter at an interval based upon the prolonged broadcasting time.
