PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel (PDP) with widened effective display area and narrowed frame part. SOLUTION: Alignment marks 39 having specific shape are formed at upper and lower end parts or the like of respective non-facing parts 32 formed at left and right end parts of a front panel substrate 30, and alignment marks 49 having specific shape are formed at left and right end parts or the like of respective non-facing parts 42 formed at upper and lower end parts of a back panel substrate 40. The front panel substrate 30 and the back panel substrate 40 are arranged in opposition to each other so that the alignment mark 39 formed on the front panel substrate 30 and the alignment mark 49 formed on the back panel substrate 40 are in a prescribed positional relation with a certain spacing.
